This is one of the 6 examples of the ‘ready to run’ 0-6-0T locos produced by Brian Clarke of Saltford Models during the early 1980s. It is Based on the large Bagnall 0-6-0T ‘Dennis’ built for the Snailbeach & District Railway but reduced in size to match the more usual 009 loading gauge. Saltford Models of Bath also produced a range of kits and parts for 009, and other examples of their output are included in the Society’s collection.
