The 009 Society Members’ Sales Terms and Conditions

General

Access to and use of this website and the products and services available through this website (the “services”) are subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”).  By using the services, you are agreeing to all of the Terms of Service.  From time to time the terms may be updated.  You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the services without notice.  This website also has links to other websites, which are not operated by The 009 Society (“Linked Sites”).  The 009 Society accepts no responsibility for them, or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.  Your use of the linked sites will be subject to the terms and service contained within each site.

This website uses services from PayPal to collect the charge for your goods and by accepting these Terms and Conditions you are confirming that you are legally entitled to use the Credit or Debit Card that is used as the source of funding for PayPal.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy.  Any information collected is for use by The 009 Society authorised personnel only, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.  Under no circumstances are customer details passed on to other companies.

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

The consumer contracts regulations implement the consumer rights directive, which give you rights when online shopping.  By accepting our terms of service, you are confirming that you have been informed of your legal rights.  Full details can be viewed here.

Pricing Policy

The price advertised on The 009 Society website will be the price charged at the time of the order being processed.  This excludes errors in pricing (E & OE).  In the event of an error with a price, you will be contacted prior to the order being processed and given the option to accept the correct price, or cancel the order.

Product descriptions and images

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions and the related images are correct.  The image forms part of the description.  It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that the product description is correct for the item they are ordering.

Order acceptance

All items, offers, specifications and prices are correct and believed in good faith at the time of quotation, but may change due to circumstances beyond our control.  Your order will be deemed to have been accepted when we despatch the order to you.  It is your obligation to check when ordering that the quantity and description of the items ordered is correct.  This can be done by viewing the order confirmation email that is sent to the registered email address.

Payments

Payments are only taken on orders, when items are in stock and available for shipping. 

Order Cancellation Policy

You have the right to return goods if you change your mind within 14 calendar days of receiving them. Goods must be undamaged and in the original packaging which they were issued with. You must return the good to the address below within 14 calendar days of receiving them.  We do not refund return shipping costs, unless the goods are proven defective.

Please include a covering letter, with details of the return and a copy of your original invoice.

Faulty Returns Policy

To avoid delays in the processing and handling of your return, please email us at members-sales@009society.com, before returning any faulty items to us.  We will refund your postage costs.

Any faults must be notified to Members Sales within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods and the return of any faulty goods must be made within 14 calendar days from the notification of the fault to Members Sales. The goods must be returned in the original packaging.

The Sales Team will attempt to repair the item and return it promptly. If the item is not repairable then we reserve the right to replace it with similar item from the Shop or to issue a full refund.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used.

Shipping

Shipping

The shipping charges are based upon charge bands applied to the total price for the basket of goods that have been ordered are charged with  the order. The charges are shown in the table below.

Overseas Members are reminded that they are responsible for any charges made by local Customs or Governments and that orders will always be declared at the price paid.

Your Members’ Sales team usually meets on a Thursday morning to pick, pack and fulfil orders.  We always aim to process and despatch orders as soon as we can, and if time permits the orders may be despatched more quickly, however, in busy times, the despatch of orders may take a little longer.

Customs Charges

Non-UK customers are responsible for any duty, or import taxes charged by Customs.  Customers who do not pay these charges may have their parcel(s) returned to us by the customs service concerned.  In the event of this happening, the customer would forfeit the postage paid and would be liable for a second postage charge, if they would like the parcel(s) to be re-sent.
