Schull situated in West Cork Ireland, was the western terminus of the 3ft narrow gauge Schull and Skibbereen Railway. The railway was 15 miles long, and opened to the public in 1886, and finally closed in 1947. The model to 4mm scale,12mm track and is an exact model of Schull Station. The track plan is correct having a novel feature of the run round loop ending on a turntable. All the scratch built rolling stock on the layout is what would have run on the railway during the period 1923 to 1945 when the railway was part of the Great Southern Railway of Ireland.
