Nant Gwynant was the first section to be built of my home-based 009 layout. It represents a tourist railway based in North Wales. The location is totally fictitious, although two of the three buildings that are situated on an elevated position, behind the station, are based on buildings that do actually exist in the village of Nant Gwnant, just north-east of Beddgelert on the A498. The layout appeared in 009 News in September 2007 and in Railway Modeller in June 2008.
